India 2007In the Basti, the Muslim quarter of Delhi, every year Urs celebrations take place on the 5th of February to remember the death day of Hazrat Inayat Khan. The photos are from the Urs celebration 2007, together with other stations of my India journey. The mosque in Ajmer near Delhi is the place where Moinuddin Chishti, the founder of the Chishti Order in India, has his dargah. The SOI is an offspring of the Chishti Order. |
